Computers are tough to crack for people of all ages. They are an especially good tool for young children to be exposed to, as early intervention is a proven means to fluency. Yet they are also vital for adults who want access to information and technical independence.
I have been working with computers my entire life. I run a design company that lives on computers. It has occurred to me that I have taken these skills for granted.
I can teach my students basic computer setup and maintenance, hardware installation (printers, scanners, modems, etc), word processing, internet fluency and security, web design, HTML and operating systems.
